2009
And so was Illostras first year as a kennel at an end. It has been a great year, with lots of fun and many wonderful and talented puppy buyers and friends.
The year started with our very first litter. The Angel Litter. 8 lovely little mischievous personalities. 2 of them stayed with us and 6 of them moved to new loving homes.
Although we had been out and shown us very sparingly, it has gone very well. To mention some Julius BIS-1- Puppy on our Breedspecial at Tånga Hed & BIS-2 puppy at the Kk-show at beautiful Sofiero in strong competition, BIS-1-Breedergroup and Luna's BIS-1- progency Group at Sighthound special in Helsingborg.
We were off to Denmark with our LurecoursingQueen Luna, where she put herself in the breeds history by becoming BOB in Denmark's first Lc-trial and iwith that becoming the first pharaohhound to become a Danish Lurecoursing Champion.
But the Best and what we cherish the Most is all the fun we had with our wonderful puppybuyers. All the fun things you find out to do with your dogs. Thank you all so much for a wonderful 2009!

Stockholm KK-show
Today at his birthday we had Julius entered at HUND2009. Excellent, very nice critique and we had a lot of fun jumping around the ring :) Crazy one year-old Pharaohmales--- you have to love them.

13 September
Swedish Sigthound Club,Laröd
17 PH’s was entered for judge Angela Hauncher-Ayucar First time in junior class for our small ones. And they did great.
Julius placed Best Male-3, Akilles Best Male-4 and TitoBest Male-5.
Our little crazy Yagah placed Best Bitch-4 and BIR-Junior.Lunaplaced BOS.
Later in the BIS finals Yagah was placed BIS-2 Junior.
Luna competed for the first time with her litter and won BIS-1-Progency Group. It was also our first time to compete with a Breeders Group and to our happiness won BIS-1-Breeders Group.
Thank you to my wonderful puppy buyers for making this weekend a truly memorable one.

12 September
Today at the KK-show in Sofiero we had Yagah, Julius and Tito entered for judge Paula Rekirant. This where the very last day in puppyclass. Julius BOB, Tito 2nd amongst the malepuppies. Yagah 2nd among the females. All with prize of honour.
In a large Puppy BIS-final , over 50 puppies, Julius made first and second cut and was finally placed as BIS-2 Puppy.

23 August
4 of the A-litter puppies where entered to a big puppyshow here on the westcoast. Yagah was placed first and Pharin second of the females in the breed. Julius first and Henke second of the males. All 4 with prize of honour.
Later Yagah was places as BOS-Puppy but nothing in the BIS-finals.

Lc Gilleleje Denmark
Denmark’s very first official lure-coursing trail was held in very hot sunny weather. Judges where Per Nordahl & Robert Dirksen, both from Sweden.
Our beautiful Luna is placed 1/2 and gets the Danish CC. This making her the first PH to become Danish Lurecoursing champion ~~ DKLCCH! 70,25 p

Sighthoundclub show Sweden
The second day at Lövudden the puppies where judged by Mrs Bitte Ahrens. A happy and shining Julius placed as BOS Puppy. Our sweet Yagah placed 4th and lovely Pharin as 7th. All with prize of honour.

Breed special "Stora Specialen" Sweden
11 puppies where entered today. Judging was Mrs Hanna Ukura from Finland. Julius was chosen BOS, Jöregen Tingshammars Saffran, who was shown for the first time, placed 2nd, both with prize of honour. Thank you Lina Hultman for showing him in such a nice way.
Yagah was placed 2nd in a large female puppy class

Nat Kc show, Sweden
A hot sunny day was spent in nice company at nat show in Borås. We hade Julius and Yagah entered for American judge Bonnie Trelfall. Julius was placed 2nd and Yagah BOS. Both with very nice critics and prize of honour.

Breed special,”Lilla Specialen” Sweden
27 dogs where entered for American judge Kalen Dumke. 8 puppies were shown. Yagah BOS and Julius BOB and later BIS Puppy. Magnus Gustavssons Tito was placed 2nd with prize of honour.
Luna was placed Best bitch 4.

25 Pharaohs where entered for Pascal Thiery, France. 5 of them puppies. Julius was placed as BOB Puppy and Yagah BOB Puppy.
